Snowboarding at Kirkwood

On Friday we let the boys play hookie from school and spent the day snowboarding/skiing at Kirkwood Meadows. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! What a blast!

We couldn't hardly find a picture of Landon or Lijah in the last 2 years without long hair. Bribery worked well.. After purchasing 3 new games for their XBOX 360 we were off to the barber shop!

New Years In Lake Tahoe

This year we had the opportunity to spend New Years in Tahoe, skiing at Northstar with Alicia and her fiance, Scott. (They got engaged during this trip) CONGRATS! We luckily had good weather to make it a nice day of snowboarding for the boys. Scott & Landon did venture out one crazy weather day to Homewood while the rest of us spent the day at the cabin in Tahoe City.

Christmas Eve in Mendocino

Every year it is a tradition for Scott & I to visit my sister and David at their home in Mendocino for 3 days returning on Christmas Eve. We always look forward to this time of year. While the boys were off golfing, Kristy & I did a little shopping and lot of frosting! (cookies) :)

We are so blessed! We are very thankful for so many things in our lives. First and foremost to our Heavenly Father, who watches over us every day. We are greatful for family and friends.. for all they do for us. We are blessed to have good health, a roof over our heads, and food on the table. We are also thankful for living in this country... with all the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.
