Christmas Eve in Mendocino

Every year it is a tradition for Scott & I to visit my sister and David at their home in Mendocino for 3 days returning on Christmas Eve. We always look forward to this time of year. While the boys were off golfing, Kristy & I did a little shopping and lot of frosting! (cookies) :)

Count Your Blessings!

We are so blessed! We are very thankful for so many things in our lives. First and foremost to our Heavenly Father, who watches over us every day. We are greatful for family and friends.. for all they do for us. We are blessed to have good health, a roof over our heads, and food on the table. We are also thankful for living in this country... with all the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.

Oregon Vacation

This was our fourth time to vacation in Klamath Falls, Oregon at the Running Y Ranch. The chilly weather was a nice change from home. We always enjoy vacationing here. Some of our activities included: bike riding, golfing, hiking, playing laser tag, tennis, mini putt course, and of course ending everyday with a swim in the pool (or in my case the hot tub). Unfortuntaly Morgan decided to hang out with her grandma this week, so she did not accompany us on our trip.

Yes on Prop 8!

First Yes on 8 TV Ad
by Jeff Flint - Campaign Manager on September 29th, 2008

By now you’ve hopefully seen our first Yes on 8 ad. The feedback that we’ve received thus far has been awesome! Supporters are happy that the real story about Prop 8 is starting to hit the airwaves.
If you haven’t yet seen the ad, take a moment to do so now. It’s easily accessible all over the Internet — on this Web site, YouTube, Facebook and MySpace.
Once you’ve seen it, be sure to forward it to your friends and family. Urge them to donate to the campaign, to help us continue airing this ad and others (in development) until Election Day. You can use the YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kKn5LNhNto.
Thanks for your continued support!

Annual Sisters Weekend Getaway

My sister Kristy and I went on our annual sisters getaway this weekend. We rented a cottage on the Russian River in Duncans Mills. The cottage was a bit more rustic than anticipated, and we had to keep warm by turning on the oven full blast and opening the door while also using a few space heaters. Then on the opposite side of that, we turned the hot tub on too hot and could barely sit in it for 5 mintues. We just couldn't get the temperature of anything right! But it was a reason for a good laugh. We went shopping in the town of Guerneville and found a few treasures to bring home with us. We had a great time!

Golfing in Brentwood

On Friday, Scott and I surprised Lane and took him golfing in Brentwood. It was the first time we had golfed here. Nice course. We saw all kinds of creatures.. The carts were funky -- sounded more like a go-carts. We had a great time! (Lane, just because you beat me this time, doesn't mean you will do it again.. :)
