4th of July Festivities

Every year our family celebrates the 4th of July at my Uncle Don & Aunt Jeanette's house in Citrus Heights. We have had this tradition for as long as I can remember. This year we were able to meet our 3rd (?) cousin Roland who is 2 months old... WHAT A CUTIE!!!

One of my FAVORITE Weeks!

Boy Scout camp! Every year all my boys go to scout camp to earn more merit badges. They love this time spent in the mountains, and I love the time with just Morgan and I. Here are just a few of the 700 pictures Scott took during the week.

Morgan and Me

Genealogy

Morgan has been spending some time lately working on our family genealogy. With the help of Susan Hull, one of Morgans young womens leaders, Morgan was able to find her great grandmother Beverly. She is currently living in a nursing home with alzheimers, and didn't know who Morgan was, but they seemed to have a nice visit together. Thank you, Sister Hull for your help.. and time... we all appreciate it.

Landons Science Camp Trip to Florida

Landon was given the opportunity to go to Florida in May for a week long science trip. I'm not sure if he was more excited to experience Orlando or just to be on a plane. It was a little scary for me, his mom, to send him states away with a bunch of over 14 yr olds and only 2 adults, but he made it home safe and sound. He was given a camera and STRICT INSTRUCTIONS to take all the pictures in the camera.... I think he managed to take 4 or 5... none that came out.. So, here are a few from the airport, and from a friends camera.
